"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error."

Romans 1:26

Personally I share concepts that help me persevere, because honestly I do not receive the genuine healing in my life I need to live a normal quite life as also promised (1 Thessalonians 4:11). So I tend to share concepts that I am currently facing and having to deal with and I also share the excuses from my "giant enemies" use to try to stop me.

The latest topic that is constantly thrown upon me is 'Homosexuality'.

So this is my stance due to what is written...

  1. "But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female." (Mark 10:6).
  2. The men are NOT to be  alone so he joined the man with a women (Genesis 2:18).
  3. God made the woman to desire her own husband (Genesis 3:16). Woman are NOT to desire each other but when it comes to a relationship it is for a man who is to be her husband.
  4. "...and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." (Mark 10:8-9).

Now this is my personal stance due to facts in the WORLD as well...

The world paints this fabulous life about 'men and men' and 'women with women' being together and living a great "sound life" which is also portrayed in essence by many famous people. I understand many of them believe they are in essence living 'righteous' because they still pay their bills and taxes. Also are polite and respectful etc etc.. , however; their are many health risk are as fallows...

  1. Rectal Prolapse
  2. Anal Fistula with Tuberculosis
  3. Parasites
  4. Polyposis
  5.  Anal Ulcer
  6. Anal Ectropion
  7. Hemorrhoid
  8. Peri-Anal Abscess
  9. Condyloma
  10. etc. etc.

Just to name a few!

I was given a challenge to write a MLA-format paper on why homosexual marriages were wrong and NOT to include God (since in the US we have freedom of 'Religion'). Though my motive was to defend God and Jesus Christ, I still wrote the fallowing paper back in 2005 'Against Gay marriages' and did not include my personal religious beliefs.

Against Ken marring Ken and Barbie marring Barbie?

The United States has engulfed into a multi cultural acceptance within the past decade regarding religion, habits, ethics and even morality. Every part of a debate concerning an issue affecting a part of society’s lifestyle has always been a battle between what is right, and wrong. The concern of homosexual marriages is definitely an issue that deserves every sought out idea, beliefs, and even future scenarios, since no one has any idea what this matter is to become.  Is this an issue of civil rights; is this an issue of a healthy, moral lifestyle? Will others be affected in any way to a disadvantage by agreeing to this area under discussion? What is clear, is that the United States is a representation of freedom. Although, due to the capacity and the concern of others, which is a natural aspect of being a human, certain parts of freedom do have to be regulated or justly labeled illegal.

First, some say that Homosexuals suffer from the same types of discrimination that minorities experienced prior to the civil rights movement. However, according to an article called Myth and Reality about Homosexuality--Sexual Orientation Section, Guide to Family Issues, “Homosexuality is a sexual behavior. It cannot be compared to race or ethnicity. People who engage in same-sex behavior are accorded the same rights as every other citizen. Special rights should not be given to individuals because of their sexual behavior. Homosexuality is not a genetically encoded condition - like height or skin color. Governments should not grant special rights to the homosexual community for what is a behaviorally-based identity rather than a true genetic one.”(Myth). Civil Rights were understood to be intended for issues concerning African Americans, Native Indians, Hispanics, and other minorities that have suffered due to their race, color, and/or culture. These minorities were not even considered to be human. Same sex-marriage should not be considered a civil right.  According to Webster’s dictionary the definition of civil rights is, “Rights belonging to a person by virtue, meaning moral excellence and righteousness, of his or her status as a citizen or as a member of a civil society.”. So, for homosexuals to marry is it to be considered a moral excellence? The marriage institution is necessary to insure the upbringing of our children.  The defenders of civil rights have been oppressed people that had no rights at all due to being thought of less than human.  Blacks and other groups were bought, sold and killed by their “owners” and all this was legal back then. Dwight McKissic, a black citizen points out, “When homosexuals have spent 200 years in slavery … been legally defined as three-fifths human…then we can begin a discussion of parallels [between the civil rights and the gay rights movements],” (Roger).  These people have been victims of prejudice and bigotry by a society that saw nothing wrong in degrading another human being.  Homosexuals have not been judged, outlawed, or even thought of less than a human being but rather have been accepted as a normal part of society. They have not been victims of any set backs due to their lifestyle. Being compared to a black from the 1920’s and their struggle for freedom is no where near a homosexual and the issues of marriage today.

Next, The United States has always had the obligation of having to care and insure the well being of its citizen and the future ones as well. Making a decision now can cause a tidal wave of events that could help or harm the nation in the future as a whole. Primary, what about the health and well being of homosexuals themselves? The health risk are starting to alarm many areas in the US and a direct quote form the American Journal of Medicine is proof of that, “Gay and bisexual men are at significant risk for developing anal cancer…”(Tracey). Sue Goldie, MD, MPH, told WebMD that there were 3 major factors that ‘motivated’ her to study anal cancer in depth. WebMD quotes, “…that the number of cases of anal cancer is rising in gay men; that changes in the cells lining the anus that indicate cancer is likely to develop are easily identified with a Pap smear; and that development of this type of cancer is linked to infection with the common virus HPV” (page 1,Tracey). Also, I spoke to a OBGYN named Yolanda Garcia from The Women’s Center in Edinburgh, Texas on the matter of how this effects Lesbians. She stated that many female partners use toys when they have sex but don’t clean them and the toy builds up bad bacteria which in turn irritate the cervices and lead in to cervical cancer (Garcia). Then, there is the area of the children, for they are the future and the rewards or consequences of our decision today. Therefore, what is a healthy life style for a child to be raised in? No one really knows the out come of this type of living since the issues of children has just started. “…it is critical for raising healthy children and transmitting the values that are the basis of our culture.” (Schiffren). So if values are the bases many times, that teach our children of the culture and without any values children are more bound to grow up unhealthy.  Raising healthy children and trying to prevent homosexuals from any cancer could lead to healthy society.

Lastly, what about the other citizens surrounding this issue? Homosexual relations are just a choice but it’s a choice of preference. Which should not be a sticker in our laws to promote verbalizing your sexual pleasures at work, school, or even friends? Sex is not a respectable issue to debate. Some say, if two people love each other, they should be allowed to marry.  “We love many people that we don’t marry. If there were no restrictions on marriage and feelings were all that mattered, fathers could marry their own daughters, brothers could marry sisters, and people could marry their dog. Were there no restrictions on marriage, the possible arrangements would be endless. If marriage is based solely on one’s affections, the need for companionship, or the desire for genital stimulation, then there is no logical reason for not legalizing polygamous, incestuous or pedophilic marriages. The redefinition of marriage could reduce it to a commitment between any two individuals or entities and there are many relationships in society that would meet the new definition. A marriage license fulfills a specific purpose which is to order society into families based on marriage between a man and a woman which has proven to be the best environment in which to raise children.” (Myth). Others say that what people do "in the privacy of their own bedrooms" is not anyone else’s business. However, “Private behavior often has very public consequences. Statistics clearly show that homosexual behavior is destructive and bears high costs, not only to the individual, but to society. Homosexual behavior has implications far beyond the bedroom. Last year the U.S. government spent billions of dollars on AIDS treatment, research and programs. AIDS in the U.S. is largely a homosexual disease stemming from unhealthy sexual practices. There are many consensual behaviors that current laws and customs have deemed harmful because of their negative effect on society. Drug use, prostitution, rape and incest are examples of activities that happen in the "privacy of bedrooms."” (Myth). Being gay is a right but telling everyone and forcing everybody to recognize that is not beneficial to all of society!

In conclusion, Homosexuality is a privilege, however, the civil rights issue towards homosexual marriages is non comparable to a black senior citizen needing to sit in the front of the bus due to a health problems and old age. Plus, what about the well being of the male and female homosexual couples? Do we, the American citizens, in any way have the right to promote such sexual behavior when it will in tail the death of so many great people due to anal cancer, and or cervical cancer? CCV Vice President David Miller acknowledged, “…perhaps the truth can be told…about the severe threat homosexual behavior poses…The truth is, no one who truly cares…people can remain silent while homosexual activists use our public…to promote behavior that puts students at dramatically higher risk …” (Break). Freedom represent our nation but so does caring and protecting the well being of our own citizens. A child needing a home and homosexual couples willing to take them in seems like a short term solution. But what about the long term result? Many citizens, including myself, are still spectacle on the real effect this has on them and if it will be a good one. To be able to have the right to do as one wishes is a good thing, not many people around the world have that privileged. However, not everyone is subject to agree to someone else’s decisions. The federal government shouldn’t even consider legalizing gay marriages for the sake of disrespecting past civil right victims, the homosexuals health, and the future care of our American children and to everyone else feeling ill of this whole matter. Furthermore, to citizens opposing my view I guess we will just have to ‘agree to disagree’.

'GAY' is NOT a character attribute nor fashion its describes sexual orientation (how someone desires to have intercourse).

adjective, gay·er, gay·est.

of, relating to, or exhibiting sexual desire or behavior directed toward a person or persons of one's own sex; homosexual: a gay couple.

Gay is a term that primarily refers to a homosexual person or the trait of being homosexual. The term was originally used to mean "carefree", "cheerful", or "bright and showy". The term's use as a reference to male homosexuality may date as early as the late 19th century, but its use gradually increased in the mid-20th century. In modern English, gay has come to be used as an adjective, and as a noun, referring to the community, practices and cultures associated with homosexuality. In the 1960s, gay became the word favored by homosexual men to describe their sexual orientation... Check out  Wikipedia for more insight.

*My mom Alicia Gonzalez helped with spelling-Check in my original paper ' Against Ken marring Ken and Barbie marring Barbie? '.

*The 'Against Ken marring Ken and Barbie marring Barbie?' paper caused me to be kicked out of the class the fallowing week! I did fight for my right to stay in the class after complaining to the higher authority about my rights. After much debate in a meeting I was allowed back in the class under the condition I write another paper about something else.

*At the time I didn't know much about 'restoring the kingdom with God' and I allowed an uncle of mine, Larry Guzman, to write my second paper about 'gambling' which caused me to be placed back in the class and at the end I did received a "B" for Rhetoric. But Now that I know about God's righteousness it was obviously wrong that I allowed my uncle to do my second paper.

*The reason why I sought advice from my uncle to begin with was cause I thought he could help me write my first paper ‘against-Gay marriages’ better so that it would be accepted. But instead he offered to just write a gambling’ paper instead which I allowed him to do for me.

*I am being completely honest and have nothing to hide, I actually tried to tell the school later about my decision to allow my uncle, Larry Guzman, to write the ‘gambling’ paper but they have dismissed me and due to time have discarded the issue.
