“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs." 1 Corinthians 13: 4-5
When do we know we are performing ‘Love’ defined in the Bible? There is actually another verse that provides a light to guide us to let us know when we are truly expressing Godly love to one another... “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18.
I know fallowing Jesus Christ from our hearts is a hard task to accomplish each day (I live it myself everyday), however; when we allow our actions to guided more by ‘love’ rather than fear than we know it’s God’s Holy Spirit in us living thru us.
The enemy constantly wants us to be in fear especially when it comes to doing ‘Righteousness’. The reason for this is because that is what the kingdom of God is about... ‘Righteousness’, Romans 14:17. Being believers of God and Jesus Christ, whom we do not see, our minds are formed more in spirit living by faith, for its written, “Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because "the righteous will live by faith." Galatians 3:11. Being guided more with God’s spirit, especially to do ‘righteousness’, without fear of spiritual consequences that threaten us in all we do than we are living and performing ‘Godly Love’.
Therefore, let us be guided doing more of ‘Righteousness’ in all we do despite the threat of fear from the enemy of darkness which will lead us to become more men and women of God and representives of the epistle of Jesus Christ with in us, 2 Corinthians 3:2. Amen!
